Meet Dr. Axi Patel, Fashion Designer and Co-Founder of her Fashion Label, Tanisi.

On today's episode, Dr. Axi and I talk about how she balances being a full-time primary care physician, Co-Founder and Fashion Designer  of her Western Casual fashion label, Tanisi.

Along with Dr. Axi, is her Co-Founder, Mentor and Mom Shreya Patel. Shreya is also the Founder and Creative Director of the hugely successful South Asian fashion label, RAAS.

Shreya launched her first fashion label, RAAS after moving from India to the United States.  Her South Asian inspired brand reached huge success and become the inspiration between a collaboration brand with Dr. Axi.  

This daring duo started their label with hopes that their consumers would feel empowerment to rise above the things that were trying to hold them back by channeling their inner diva.  

Their fashion label stands out with bold designs and handmade pieces. They use rich vibrant colors and fabrics, which make people feel beautiful wearing them.

After only launching Tanisi in 2021, their label hit a milestone in February 2022 - when they were asked to showcase their  first collection at NYFW.

Their line is bold and fierce. Tanisi drives to empower all those who hope to do more in life.

Throughout the episode, Dr. Axi shares how her mom, Shreya, served as her role model and mentor of being in the fashion industry.
